I love this statement that “accepting God’s grace over me means making space for myself.” Thanks for emphasizing that God gives us permission to take good care of ourselves.

I used to think it’s so much easier to love others more than myself. I thought loving myself was being selfish or conceited. I now see where it was actually shame I was experiencing. God loves me and doesn’t condemn me – He creates and knew me and has a plan for me. Would I question that? No! I finally believe Truth and not the lies the evil one was feeding me. Thanks for sharing your story.

A timely piece for me, almost prophetically so, as I mentally wrestled with some thoughts and my heart response to some circumstances and people in my life this morning. I do not want to be guilty of claiming my life as my own, dismissing or avoiding anyone who I find challenging to love.
