This was so raw and honest and beautifully written! What a reminder that God is the ultimate comforter. Sometimes it’s easy to feel alone during these times, abandoned. Thank you for reminding us that is a lie from Satan.

And how freeing to know we aren’t shamed into pretending we never feel abandoned and are tempted to believe those lies!

Kendra, this is just what I needed as I too move forward for myself, my sweet daughter and my family. I too cry every night, “How long will this valley be so dark?” “My heart aches more now than ever now for my sweet child, for what breaks heart heart breaks mine.”“How long do I need to wait upon you Lord?” Thank You, I too will pray for your family.

Oh Lorie, your family has been on my heart the last three months and I have been praying. Thanks grief your family is enduring is unfathomable and I am so sorry for your loss. I am so thankful that the Lord walks with us through these valleys. I’m thankful we are never alone. I’m thankful that He knows what it means to lose loved ones and is the God of all comfort. Hugs to you, friend.
