I love the biblical characters Joshua and Caleb and pray to be faithful like them. God exposes us to brother like Ian so that we will not lose heart and realize this fruit is not just written about in the bible is is demonstrated in front of our faces, prompting us to do the same. Thank you for this poignant piece.

Love this! I’m so encouraged by Ian’s example and the story of Caleb. Thanks for sharing these and the reminder that fruit like the fruit of faithfulness is slow-growing!

Leslie, thank you for this post and for sharing about Ian. May I be found faithful >>> “One step at a time, one day at a time, as we [I] seek God, hold to His faithfulness, and allow His Spirit to work within us [me].”
