It brings such peace when we know the truth that God is in charge because it helps change our perspective off of ourselves. Beautifully written.

‘Read His Words Before Ours!’

Wow, that’s a wake-up all this morning. We tend to rush right into blogging, running around online, checking out social media, the news, email.

And to take us right to the beginning of God’s Word, with thoughtful questions and wise words is all so appropriate, Lesley. Thank you for this meaningful time together this morning, friend …

This post reassures me in so many ways. God is not only author of the world; he is the author of my story which He continues to write every day. Thanks for sharing this great study.

This is an amazing thought I’ve been mulling over lately, Mary. Every person, each individual, they are not a cacophony of noise to Him, but each a unique story. And He is wooing each one towards Himself!

What a lovely relief to read these words this morning: “It is not all down to me. I am not in charge of fixing the world, or situations around me, or even myself.” I am so thankful that God is in control and I can trust Him with all the particulars.

This post brought to mind Romans 1 – “Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities – hie eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God” (verse 20b, NLT). I am so grateful God wants us to know Him!
