The GT Weekend – Battle Week 1

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

Journal Prompts

1) The “Whatevers” give us a good lens to view everything in our life. “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, etc” Print out this week’s printable  and post it in your room to remind you of His Ways this week.

2) What relationship has brought you deep disappointment? Reflect and assess how much stock you are putting in that person to bring you happiness. Think through how to lean into the Lord and look to Him for your happiness instead!

3) Comfortable is nice and good but often lets us miss out on walking deeper with the Lord. Ask the Lord to show you how to step out of your comfort zone, take a risk and follow His leading!

Father God, You have given us a beautiful road map to navigate our lives. The guardrails you put in place show us the narrow path to walk towards Your righteousness. Lord, I know I have victory through Jesus, but whenever I take my eyes off You, I fall off the path, choosing to dishonor You and Your call to righteousness. Don’t let me idolize my relationships or allow me to stay in my comfort zone. Keep my eyes focused on You.

Lord, I need reminders of how to keep growing. I’m comfortable in my life right now. Remind me of the lost who don’t know You yet. Of the orphans starving and the children being sold into sex slavery. Remind me of my lostness and how much I need You daily as I battle the feelings of comfort.

make your requests known to God!
