The GT Weekend!
At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to
reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ.
Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer,
rest your soul in reflective journaling,
and spend time worshiping the Creator who
longs for intimacy with each of us!

1) The idea of imputed righteousness, or the putting on of God’s righteousness through Jesus, is an amazing gift. What mental image comes to mind with the idea of putting on Jesus’ righteousness? How does it make you feel knowing that you could never be righteousness enough to stand before our Holy God? How encouraging that He’s blessed you with His righteousness to stand in the gap!
2) Do you fall into the trap of trying to love people with your own power? Are you quick to remember human’s inability to love well on our own accord? Only the power of God, working through you, can love people in your life. Give up the struggle today and allow Him to boldly love on others in your sphere of influence!
3) The Lord’s peace is not elusive or distant. Choose one of the verses from A God Of Peace to claim as your reminder that Jesus in near and His abundant peace is nearer. Write it on a card and post it in a prominent place so you are regularly reminded of this truth. Share it with us on our Gracefully Truthful Community page!
Praying Scripture back to the One who wrote it in the first place is a great way to jump start our prayer-life!
Pray this passage from Romans 5 back to the Lord and let His Spirit speak to you through it!
Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 We have also obtained access through him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, 4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. 5 This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Lord, You have provided a means for all to be reconciled back to You. My concern for being perfect before You is a moot point; I could never achieve it on my own. Knowing that I have Jesus’ righteousness covering me so I can sit at your feet is amazing. Thank You Lord for that provision. Guard my heart from trying to earn my righteousness through good works.
As You are leading us this week Lord, remind us to walk in step with You rather than run from the scary things You ask us to do. We want close communion with You, to experience the depth of Your peace. Take away our ideas of needing to be comfortable. Bind us to Your side that we will be ready and obedient when You ask something outside our comfort zone.
