The GT Weekend!
At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to
reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ.
Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer,
rest your soul in reflective journaling,
and spend time worshiping the Creator who
longs for intimacy with each of us!

1) The concept of the Trinity, this 3 persons within 1 God, stretches us, doesn’t it? Isn’t it comforting to know that God, the fullness of Him, goes so far beyond the short boundary lines of our boxes we like to draw? I can only comprehend this much, God, so You must fit within these parameters. But He doesn’t. His fullness is a continuous invitation to know more, to experience more, to be transformed in ever deepening ways. Where do you find yourself pushing against the “fullness of God”? Where is He inviting you to know Him more?
2) The two men from Emmaus determined there was more to a seemingly wandering stranger along a dusty road than they first thought. They were caught off-guard as Jesus began engaging with them with authority, stretching them beyond their comfort zone. When was the last time you felt caught off guard by the Almighty? When did your breath last catch as you saw Him more clearly? Is the God of All still captivating your heart? Is He still mysterious? Does He have room in your life to confront your comfortable boundary lines for how you’ve defined Him? Just suppose, like the two men from Emmaus, you let Him expand your perception of who He is?
3) John the fisherman was transformed into John the disciple, eventually becoming John the exile. With every passing season, Jesus became increasingly more precious to John. Everything was worth proclaiming Jesus, the One who had come, died, risen, and was coming again. Nothing was more emboldening for the early church as they faced persecution and rejection for preaching Christ. Eternal victory was coming! Challenge yourself to very intentionally hold onto this truth, letting it be the gauge and filter by which you speak, act, and make decisions. Victory is coming! Are you living for eternity or for the now?
Praying Scripture back to the One who wrote it in the first place is a great way to jump start our prayer-life! Pray this passage from Matthew 28:5-6 back to the Lord and
let His Spirit speak to you through it!
But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.
Prayer Journal
You did not need the stone that sealed Your tomb to be rolled away for You to escape the grip of Death, yet you left an empty tomb as a museum for us to see how You had indeed abandoned it. Your proof of life, Your evidence of love, is so abundant! Open our eyes, Lord Jesus, peel back the layers of our heart, increase our faith, that we might know the fullness of You!
Transform our understanding of who you are in such a deep fashion that we cannot staunch the flow of love from extending to others. We praise You for Hope, for Forgiveness, for LIFE as You hold all victory!
