The GT Weekend – Flourishing Week 2

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

       Journal Prompts

1. What truth do you need to take hold of today? Look to Scripture for some examples. Pray and ask the Lord to show you what it is.
2. When faced with an overwhelming situation, we are generally prone to choose one of two options; kick it into high-gear and take care of it, or hunker down and hide. Both options can be dangerous! Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to allow you to flourish, despite circumstances, by choosing to rely on Him instead of our own strength, emotions, or understanding!
3. God longs to have a relationship with each of us; He is wooing each of us to that end. If you’ve already accepted Jesus, whom will you commit to sharing this Good News with? Lord Jesus, we have been given such a great power, Your power, living inside of us. Give us courage to use that power to share your Good News. Spirit, pour out on us that we might steer clear of our legalistic tendencies and let You reign supreme in our lives. Especially in stressful times Lord, draw us close to You and remind us we don’t have to do it all,
You’ve already done it for us.

Father, I pray You would show me how delighted You are in me. Whisper in my soul that You are satisfied with me because You created me, not because of how amazing I am or how well I perform before You. When the devil comes to speak a lie in my ear, let me take hold of this truth and stomp on the untruth immediately. I know I don’t need to win Your favor, but I fall back into that habit so easily, Lord. Let me cling to the truth of Your word
as I walk in step with You!
