The GT Weekend

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!
Journal With Us!

Journal Prompts
1) The Lord promises to “allow us to understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” (Proverbs 2:3-6) This promise has a precursor; we are charged to look for His wisdom more passionately than anything else. To call out and raise our voice for those that can’t speak for themselves. That gets uncomfortable really quickly and our first inclination is to pull back. Pray the Holy Spirit would be drawing you with an open heart to hear where God is asking you to speak up and take a stand.
2) Racism doesn’t have to be overt. Subtle thoughts of superiority can creep in anywhere. Take a moment and evaluate your stereotypes of people groups in your life. Are these limiting your willingness to show love in all situations to all people? Look for simple ways to walk forward in love! Comment below with your ideas!
3) Re-read Acts 17:26-31 and see what stands out to you. Journal out your thoughts or questions. How does this passage bring conviction and at the same time, encouragement?

Pour Out Your Heart

Lord, I look at the nature you’ve created and see the perfection. How a spider spins her web to collect her food, how the oyster uses a parasite to form a pearl, Father I’m blown away by your creativity. Forgive me for the times when I see your human creation and put myself superior over others. Break my heart for the times I’ve acted in ways that did not represent Your Word.
Holy Spirit, move in my life. Move in my community and our nation. We are easily divided by our perceived differences. Remind us Lord that we as believers are The Church. Across the globe, we collectively, are your children. Give us a pouring out of unity as we move forward in Your love.
