The GT Weekend – Remade Week One

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

Journal Prompts

1) If you have decided to follow Jesus, the truth of the Gospel is so important. Write a notecard with “I am made new in Christ” and post it on your mirror to remind you that He is constantly renewing you!

2) There are many parts of the Kingdom of Death that are enjoyable. Think back on a recent sin and reflect on the feeling associated. Often it’s a chain of reactionary emotions; happiness, emptiness, remorse, regret or sorrow. Give yourself time to think through those emotions and recognize the disconnect sin creates between us and God.

3) The Kingdom of Light is amazing. And also a little scary as it’s so uncertain what all it will entail before knowing Jesus. What is holding you back? What are your biggest questions? What do you long for the most? Comment below or email us at prayer@gracefullytruthful.com

Father God, You lavish Your perfect love on us so completely! You sent Your son to make a way for us to have relationship again. You have made us new and don’t ask us to follow a list of rules but rather to walk in step with Your spirit. Your love for us is overwhelmingly wonderful.
Thank You.

Lord, show me how to let You lead. I often step back into taking charge, I hate giving up my control. But You have the benefit of knowing everything and leading me based on that knowledge. Let me remember that as I keep kicking back the part of myself that gets in the way of Your glory shining through me. Shine brightly through me Lord!
