The GT Weekend – Sketched II, Week 1

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

Journal Prompts

1. Corrie Ten Boom faced great persecution for her faith and boldness. God used her simple obedience to bless and save a great number of Jews under the tyranny of the Nazis. Pray today for God to use your obedience in a mighty way! Be ready to do what He asks!
2. What giants are you facing in your life? Do you feel confident in your identity in Christ? Or are you feeling weak and weary? Ask the Lord to empower you to follow in obedience through where He’s leading you.
3. There are still many unreached people groups in the world today. Join together with us today and pray for our brothers and sisters around the world that haven’t heard the Good News. Share what country you’re praying for on Instagram with #GTprayersforthenations. Father, You don’t ask much of us, just simple obedience. Sadly, that is a difficult task and I often ignore Your prompting rather than figure out how to lean in and follow You. Spirit, stir in my heart to want to follow You. Speak into my life that I might follow in obedience when facing my giants. I walk in Your victory!

“Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of your praise be heard.” Lord I pray Your Word from Psalm 66 back to You. I ask You would bring the truth of the Gospel to Your people that haven’t yet heard. We long to have all the people sing praise to You together, our Great God. Bring the Word to their language, to their hearts, that they might know You!

In everything, with praise and thanksgiving,
