The GT Weekend – Sketched II Week 2

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

Journal Prompts

1. God speaks in many different ways: through people, dreams, or situations you experience. Are you listening? Are you ready to act when you hear Him speaking to you?
2. What is the Lord calling you into today? Do you feel unprepared to obey? Take heart, sister, and step out in faith! He will not leave you alone. Share how we can be lifting you up through this journey at prayer@gracefullytruthful.com
3. Walking in community is scary. Opening your soul to another person and being transparent is unnerving. However, God designed our growth to flourish the most when we are studying His word and living authentically within biblical community. Let down your guard and jump into community today! Lord God, from the beginning of time, You’ve had plans to draw us into relationship with Yourself. You are always speaking to us, revealing Your character to us. Lord let us listen and slow down to hear Your voice. Give us a spirit of boldness to answer in obedience to whatever You have for us.

Father, I much prefer doing life by myself. I can bask in my self-righteousness so much easier if there’s nobody keeping me in check. My attitude can run wild and I can get really caught up in complacency and not look to You for anything besides saying “thanks for this food”. Thank You for showing me actual life change in community. You’ve answered my prayers for real, deep connections with women and I’m blown away with how You’ve used that simple request to shape me into a totally different version of myself. Thank You Jesus for the power You’ve bestowed on true community!
