The GT Weekend!
At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to
reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ.
Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer,
rest your soul in reflective journaling,
and spend time worshiping the Creator who
longs for intimacy with each of us!

1) Our emotions often dictate the state of our mind; if we feel loved and valued by those around us, we feel confident in ourselves. The inverse also holds true; when we are lacking love and value, it’s easy to struggle with our confidence. Reflect on how different things could feel mentally if we sink our confidence in what Jesus has done for us on the cross. His willingness to die for you, sister, and continued pursuit of you shows just how much He loves and values you.
2) Training the mind takes effort. This week, reflect on Psalm 62:5-8. Write the passage out, circle the verbs and underline the nuggets of truth the author clings to. Pray this passage back to God this week when you feel confidence fading.
3) Past hurts and shame act as a chain pulling us down into the depths of doubt and depression. Where in your life are you feeling bogged down? God is ready to bring restoration to those situations, even if He hasn’t answered your prayers in the way you asked them to be answered.
Praying Scripture back to the One who wrote it in the first place is a great way to jump start our prayer-life! Pray this passage from Psalm 62:5-8 back to the Lord and
let His Spirit speak to you through it!
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him.
Father, let me wait in silence before You. You are ready to speak mightily, if only I would stop to listen.
He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
Lord I claim you as my rock and my salvation. Plant my heart firmly in Your Word that I might not be shaken when the storm rolls through.
On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
Let me seek Your face Lord, in that storm. You are my mighty rock and my refuge. Your salvation and glory make me complete!
Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah
As my doubts rise, O Lord, remind me of all the times You’ve been faithful in my life. I can trust You because You are faithful to Yourself.
