The GT Weekend – Worship II, Week 1

At Gracefully Truthful, weekends aren’t for “checking out”.
Use this time to invite the Almighty’s fullness into you life in a deeper way!
Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

Journal Prompts

1) Reflect back on the most difficult/painful moments in the last month. How did you react? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you react in worship, even when it’s the farthest emotion you are feeling. That act of obedience can allow God room in your life to work mightily!

2) In John we see Jesus offer living water to a lady and her response is, “Are you greater than our father Jacob?” She doubted Jesus’ offer to give something better than she already had. How easy is it for you to respond as she did? Opening your heart to daily worship with the Lord encourages your heart to be softened to His leadings. Take a drink of His living water today!

3) Write out the chorus from your favorite hymn this week and post it in a place you see often. Let the truth of Scripture put to music flow over you this week! Tag us on Instagram with #HisHolyWord or in our Community page on Facebook to encourage a sister!

Lord Jesus, this last month has held many disappointments. Relationships that didn’t respond the way I expected, news of more senseless deaths, and personal failures in restoring my health. Even in the face of these negative parts of my life, I choose to give You the glory for being God. Lord, show me what You have for me to learn from these “thorns in my flesh”. Let me cling to You in the midst of the chaos of my life, fill me Spirit with more of You.

Your living water, Lord, that’s what I want. I’m ready for a water of life to well up to eternal life inside of me. Father, I know You are faithful to Your Word and I bless Your name for it. Open up my heart and pour out over me today.
