Saturdays and Sundays are a chance to reflect, rest, and re-center our lives onto Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with other women in prayer, rest your soul in reflective journaling, and spend time worshiping the Creator who longs for intimacy with each of us!

Journal Prompts
1) Reflect on how much Jesus loves you. He loves you enough that He was willing to obey God the Father’s request to die in your place. He agreed to doing something you did not deserve or earn. What is your heart’s response to that truth?
2) Write out the phrases from Worship II, Day 13 below. Next to each, write what emotion is evoked in you.
We are enemies of God.
Peace became possible because of reconciliation.
Reconciliation became possible because peace came down.
3) God made a habit of using an unexpected person to march His plan forward. Jesus took that one step further by engaging personally with people that He culturally, socially, and economically shouldn’t have given the time of day to. From these examples in Scripture, we see that we are also important to furthering the Kingdom of God. God has a place to use you today in His work; pray and ask the Holy Spirit where that is!

Pour Out Your Heart
Father God, my first response for when I come to You is to bring my long shopping list of requests, ask You to fix them and be done. Forgive me for using You as a genie that fixes my life. You deserve my worship, Lord, and when I stop and think on what You did for me, Jesus, worship is the overflow of my heart. Whisper to me to slow down enough to think on how You’ve brought peace to my life by drawing me into Your family!
Lord, I know Your work is being done all over the earth and people are bearing fruit from the Truth they hear from Your Word. I want to be a part of that work. This Christmas season, help me focus on the people I interact with rather than the best sale for the “big gift” my kids have been dying to get. Keep my eyes on where You’re leading, rather than on how perfectly decorated my house is. Spirit, keep me soft and open to Your prompting this holiday season!
