Lesley, when I am tempted to grow weary after waiting for something for month or a week, I need to remember David’s 15-year-wait to become king. Such a good example of someone who refused to take things into his own hands, even when it seemed like the perfect opportunity to fulfill God’s purposes for himself. Wonderful post!

Lesley such a good reminder that waiting is not to be ‘endured” like an unpleasant interruption. There is always a lesson God has for us! Thank you!

I need regular reminders on this topic because waiting is so discouraging!

Leslie, this is encouraging …. Delays are not just meant to be endured. “There are valuable lessons to be learned during times of waiting.” May we keep our eyes focused, ears opened, and hearts receptive to receive those lessons. Blessings!
