Lesley, beautiful thoughts and words here. I Am. What an all-encompassing name. I’m so glad He is with us always. Even when we can see the shore, He sees and guides us safely.

I once had a dream about being in a storm on the ocean and it was terrifying! I can’t imagine how this experience would have impacted on the disciples!

God does not promise smooth sailing. He does promise to be with us when the seas are rough and the waters troubled. So thankful for this promise!

Knowing Him leads to trusting Him. I’m so thankful He is with us in life’s storms and carries us through.

Because they knew Him more,
they trusted Him more.’

Thank God our faith continues to grow and flourish as we recall His faithfulness and unending love!

Oh, how many times I have walked or huddled in fear when trusting the One Who knows all should have been where my gaze turned. Isaiah 26:3-4 are verses I will be writing down to have before me as reminders to seek the Lord, trusting in Him. Praising God for leading me to your post on your site and following you here.

“Because they knew Him more,
they trusted Him more.”

This post has me humming the old hymn … “Oh, for grace to trust Him more!”
